But trouble starts to stir when Ryan realizes the girl next door is all grown up and completely smitten with his adorable three-year-old. Ryan finds it hard to resist his beautiful, yet annoyingly charming neighbor and coworker, but is torn between his feelings and trying to keep the peace with his ex-wife, the mother of his child.     First time reading this author but it won’t be the last. I am a big reader of many genres, but who doesn’t love an excellent romance ? This was so well written, and the characters became so real to me I didn’t want it to end. It was satisfyingly long, but not long enough that I wanted to give it up. Happily, I find there is a continuation story and I will go there next. This author does something special, she speaks to the reader while telling the story, almost like you are sitting across from her. I haven’t run across that too often. So true to life and the complicated relationships people deal with today. I would have given more stars if they were available, but it is definitely a five star read.
